Account & data deletion
Ask us to delete your PROTEST account and data, or clear what the game stores in your browser.
Request deletion
Email theaece@theaecestudio.com with the subject PROTEST data deletion request. Backup contact: theacemcquid@gmail.com.
So we can find the right account, include your username (or, for a guest account, your display name and the friend code shown on your profile), and tell us what you want removed. The same address handles requests for a copy of your data or a correction. Do not send your password.
What is removed
Deleting your account removes your username or display name, password hash, sessions, friend code, level and progress, unlocked cosmetics, match results and history, ratings, and your friends and friend requests. You will be removed from leaderboards. This cannot be undone.
Reports you made, or that were made about you, may be kept for a limited time where they are needed to deal with abuse. Anonymous matchmaking records contain no account details and are not affected. Deleted data can remain in encrypted backups until those backups are removed.
Clear what your browser stores
To remove the session token, settings and offline progress kept on your device, clear the site data for protest.theaecestudio.com in your browser's privacy settings. If you installed PROTEST as an app, uninstall it too. This signs you out on that device. It does not delete your account; send a request for that.
What happens next
We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days and will confirm by email. We may first ask for limited information to confirm the account is yours.
