Who we are
The AECE Studio provides Arcvelox, an Android game, and this website. This policy applies to the game, this website, and information you send us for support. Contact us at theaece@theaecestudio.com (primary) or theacemcquid@gmail.com (backup).
Information and how it is used
Game progress on your device
Arcvelox stores progress and preferences on your device, including scores, earned currency, unlocked jets and skins, upgrades, challenges, and sound settings. These records let the game resume your progress and display your local records. Local game records are not a separate AECE Studio account.
Google Play Games
Google Play Games sign-in is optional. When you connect, Google handles your Play Games account and service data under its policies. Arcvelox receives the verified Play Games player ID and display name needed to authenticate your online profile. The game service uses that ID to associate your event profile, online results, crew membership and eligible account progress. Firebase Analytics is also given that verified player ID as its Analytics user ID when an online profile is applied. This associates Analytics events from that app installation with the connected pilot; signing out is not a deletion request. Completed classic-flight statistics and earned achievements can be sent to Play Games for the connected pilot even while the flight wallet stays local. These statistics do not credit the cloud wallet or submit a ranked score. We do not receive your Google password.
Google Play Games profile visibility and data controls are managed through your Google account. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google's Play Games data disclosures.
Online events and event winnings
If you use online events, our game service stores your event entries and verified results, scores and timing, crew name and membership, contributions, seasonal progress and prizes. It also keeps an account wallet and purchase records for purchases whose receipts the service verifies. Your Play Games display name and event results can be shown to other participants; public crew names can be listed for other pilots, and crew members can see one another's display names and contributions. A Launch Run is a single-life run of up to 10 minutes: its input replay is sent to our service over HTTPS and replayed server-side to verify the result and leaderboard score. We do not treat the device's reported score or wallet balance as authoritative. Connected daily supply and free or Super Spin rewards are issued by the service, which stores their operation IDs and outcomes so retries cannot grant them twice. Classic runs remain playable locally without connecting.
Reports and blocks
If you submit an in-game report, the service stores your pilot ID, the reported crew or pilot, the selected reason and report time so the studio can review it. The current Event Hub report control sends no free-text details. Reports are handled through the studio's moderation process. Resolved report records are scheduled for cleanup after 180 days; because cleanup runs as part of report processing, this is not a guaranteed deletion deadline. If you block a pilot, the service stores the two pilot IDs and block time to apply your visibility preference and crew restrictions; it removes that relationship when you unblock the pilot. Do not put sensitive personal information in report details.
Ordinary classic play remains available without connecting. When you first connect a Play Games pilot, the game preserves your existing local save on the device but does not import it into a new Arcvelox cloud account. The cloud account starts with server-held records and verified online rewards; subsequent eligible account progress and balance changes can be available to that pilot on later connected sessions. In Settings, you can restore the preserved local save; local mode pauses cloud play and online rankings. Settings and other local-only records are not necessarily synced. Play Games authorization codes are exchanged by the service and are not written to its application logs. Event session tokens expire after 24 hours. We do not request your email, Google password or contacts for online events. Signing out does not delete server account data. You can request deletion of eligible studio-held records through our account deletion page.
Support and deletion requests
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any details or attachments you choose to send. We use these to respond, investigate an issue, or process your privacy request. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or information unrelated to your request.
Optional purchases and advertising
Where purchases are offered in your release, Google Play Billing processes the payment. Google handles payment details. For one-time packs and season-pass purchases, the game sends the signed purchase receipt and product details to our service for verification and delivery. New purchase flows also supply Google Play with a hashed pilot or guest identifier to associate pending purchases with their originating profile. When you are connected, the service stores the verified product and purchase token against your pilot account. Subscription status is checked with Google Play and is used by the game to control menu banners; we do not describe subscription billing records as an Arcvelox cloud save. See Google's Privacy Policy and manage or cancel a subscription through Google Play.
Rewarded ads are optional and can offer coins, upgrade cores or a run continue. A banner may appear in menus, including the game-over menu, and is hidden during flight and pause. Ad rewards for coins and upgrade cores are saved only in the local flight profile; event continues use server-side ad verification. Google Mobile Ads and the consent platform may process device and network information, ad interactions and consent choices to deliver and measure ads and prevent abuse. The app requests applicable consent before ads; if the privacy options control is available, find AD PRIVACY on the in-game Rewards page. There are no forced interstitial or app-open ads. See Google Mobile Ads data disclosures.
App analytics
The Android game includes Firebase Analytics and Firebase Performance Monitoring. Analytics records game events and app-use information. Our own event parameters include actions such as starting and finishing a run, score, distance, selected jet and district. When you connect Play Games, the verified player ID is set as Firebase Analytics' user ID to associate events with that online pilot. Performance Monitoring automatically reports performance information and the game also records a startup trace and gameplay traces. Our custom traces can include run duration and distance, district, selected jet, graphics mode, frame rate, slow-frame counts and long pauses. Firebase may process a Firebase installation ID (FID), session ID, app version, general device/network details, request timing and IP-derived country for these reports. The FID is separate from your Play Games player ID. Firebase handles provider-side retention; its current privacy documentation says Performance Monitoring retains IP-associated events for 30 days and installation-associated/de-identified performance data for 60 days before starting removal from live and backup systems. These provider timelines are not proof that a specific deletion request has completed.
This website
Our web server receives ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, requested page, browser information, and request time, to deliver the site and troubleshoot errors. Cloudflare provides domain name services, content delivery, and protection against abusive traffic. It processes connection information and may use essential security checks and cookies for those purposes; see Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. The studio does not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts, a sign-up form, or its own cookies to this site.
Services and sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information is handled by providers needed to deliver the game, website and support, including Google Play Games, Google Play Billing, Google Mobile Ads, Firebase, Cloudflare, our event-service host, Google Drive backups and our email providers. Each provider handles its own service data under its policies. Data may be processed in countries other than yours. We may disclose information if legally required or necessary to protect users and our services.
Retention and security
Local progress remains on your device until it is removed or overwritten. Android backup settings may affect whether app data is restored after reinstalling. If you connect, eligible progress and account records are held in the Arcvelox event service while the account is active or needed to provide the service. Online records and purchase verification records are not deleted by signing out.
Our server access logs are rotated daily and kept for up to 15 days. The service also makes daily database backups and separate owner-controlled Google Drive and pre-deployment copies; those copies have separate retention and cleanup steps. For a verified deletion request, matching service records and each retained backup copy must be handled separately. Cloudflare, Google and Firebase keep their own service data under their policies and retention periods. Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your request and related follow-up, or to meet a legal obligation. If a legal obligation requires specific information to be retained, we will explain the reason and applicable period unless prohibited by law.
We use HTTPS for this website and game service and restrict server administration. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can clear local progress, manage Google Play Games data with Google, and ask us to remove eligible information from the Arcvelox service using our account and data deletion page. You do not need to reinstall or sign in to the game to email a request. Analytics and Performance Monitoring data are separate Firebase services; deletion requires provider-side requests and exact account or installation identifiers, and provider retention can continue after a request is accepted.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, object to or restrict its processing, and complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us to exercise these rights. We may ask for limited information to verify that the request concerns your data. We aim to respond within 30 days; this is a response target, not a promise that every provider or retained backup copy will finish erasing data within that period. We will explain any remaining provider action or applicable retention period, subject to law.
We process information to provide the services you request, maintain their security and reliability, and meet legal obligations. Where consent is required, you can withdraw it through the relevant service settings or by contacting us.
Younger players
Players should follow the game's age rating and their device and Google account requirements. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through the game or website. A parent or guardian can contact us to request removal of information a child has sent to support. Google family settings govern children's use of Google services.
